Replace the existing Contao foundation
We migrated the existing CMS setup to Prismic. The system change was part of the website's technical modernization—not simply a new design within the existing Contao environment.

TAMPOPRINT: From Contao to Prismic.
For TAMPOPRINT, we developed the website and migrated the existing Contao setup to Prismic. The focus was a technical foundation for a website that explains complex industrial products clearly and can evolve as requirements change.
Valanor developed TAMPOPRINT's new website and migrated its existing Contao setup to Prismic. A technical modernization of an industrial B2B website, delivered in collaboration with RUESS Group.
Starting Point
TAMPOPRINT develops marking technology using pad printing and lasers. Its portfolio ranges from manual workstations and laser systems to automated platform solutions. The new website needed to explain these technologies through different industries and applications and present the company to an international audience.
The technical task was to turn that ambition into a working website. The existing Contao environment was the starting point; Prismic became the new CMS foundation.
For websites for mid-sized industrial companies, this connection matters: the interface must help visitors find their way, while the technical foundation must support content maintenance and further development.
Strategic Approach
With Prismic as its headless CMS, the website gains a content management system that delivers structured data through APIs. The frontend handles presentation. The content model and user interface are separate parts of the system and do not have to share the same technical structure.
The strategic value of this separation is the ability to make changes: new presentation requirements can be addressed independently of content management. Structured content can also be used in different contexts. Which capabilities are used in practice depends on the content model and the application—not the CMS name alone.
This is the standard we apply in Platform Engineering: technology should address requirements clearly and keep change manageable. A new platform must work in everyday use, not just in an architecture diagram.
Valanor was responsible for website development and the migration from Contao to Prismic. Our contribution covered both the technical delivery of the website and the replacement of its CMS foundation.

Valanor developed the website on the new CMS foundation. Our responsibility was the working system: the point where content and the digital interface come together technically.
Collaboration
Together with RUESS Group, we delivered a website for TAMPOPRINT's industrial technologies. Valanor brought engineering responsibility to the project: developing the website and migrating from Contao to Prismic.
Our contribution connected the ambition for the new website with its technical implementation. In projects like this, communication, design and development need to work towards the same goal: a website that presents the company clearly and can continue to evolve technically.
For the design and communication context, see RUESS Group's project overview (in German).
Valanor migrated the existing Contao setup to Prismic and developed the website. The project combined a CMS change with the technical renewal of an industrial B2B website.
Within the joint project with RUESS Group, Valanor was responsible for technical implementation and CMS migration. Our contribution was to deliver the new website as a working content and web system.
The project illustrates a common requirement in machinery manufacturing: a complex product portfolio needs a clear website and an appropriate technical foundation. At TAMPOPRINT, website development and the replacement of Contao were delivered together.
Comparable challenges, with different existing systems and technical requirements.
A decoupled website architecture with Sanity as a shared content foundation for the website and other digital applications.
